For use on Precision Air-Motive (Facet or Marvel-Schebler) carbs. Designed with optical probe, which doesn't measure temp., but detects actual ice/frost/formation within the carb. Use to monitor the amount of carb heat needed to keep warning light out and carb frost free. Panel mount configuration (photo) mounts in standard 3-1/8" opening. Remote mount configuration with red ice warning light separate for mounting in tight remote locations or glare shield. FAA/PMA approved. Enclosed size 2-3/4"x2-1/8"x1-5/8" deep. Face plate 3.5"x3.5".
